It’s a wonderful Saturday! and I thought I would just take a moment to say HI! For those of  you that follow my blog. I know it’s been a bit of a strange year, but what has been awesome about it is the growth and development of ideas that has taken place. Blog websites are so truly amazing! We all get to grow and share in this life. I love it! I can honestly say I have created more this year than I have in ALL PREVIOUS YEARS. My writing has been a bit on the back burner this year while painting and sketching have been more predominant. Do I feel a tad strung out? YES haha especially since I have picked up gardening and creative cooking. I cannot complain though! God is awesome and I am blessed! There is just so much for which to be thankful.

It’s also been an incredible YEAR for research! There are so many works I continue to glean from. The Pleasures of the Imagination by Mark Akenside, The collective works of J.W. Turner, Alfred Noyes,  Color and Form by Adrian Stokes, The Improvement of the Mind by Isaac Watts… just to name a few. I swear Google books has become a true companion.

And you know, Isaac Watts? What a guy! A non conformist like myself, HA! His book inspired Michael Faraday..someone who I consider to be another Godly super genius.. I just find that connection totally interesting..ah Well I suppose I will wrap this thing up as I  meant to keep this short because I’m off to pay homage to Barnes & Noble 😀
