I recently attended an art museum. For the most part it was quiet and empty and while there may have been about ten people in the building altogether..
The place was full of LIFE because it was full of ART.
IT was full of People who love art and people who for the most part spent their lives creating it.
IT was also full of fear.
I walked back toward the the children’s art exhibit..because that’s where my heart is. The art created by children always intrigues and amazes me. I came across this installation, it encouraged me to FEED my FEARS, but It had not only encouraged me to feed my fears, it had for the most part, encouraged children to FEED theirs.
I was moved by the thoughts and fears written on this web. Especially this one in particular, that said “Seeing the world forget God”. This touched my heart as I seek not to forget God in my own life. The world always makes it so easy to forget God.
So I’m going to take a minute right now to remember, He is after all the one who always reminds me to FEAR NOT. So let me for a moment not feed my fears but instead receive peace from God in all things, Let me not create fear, but let me instead create a space for peace. What if this post had said something else? what if it had said, What things bring you the most Joy in life? What would you love to create? If the question had been different I just wonder What life children would have released then into this world as a result?
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
